Abstract: The Sigmoidal(SM) model is a commonly used material constitutive model for constructing the master curve of asphalt mixture. This paper analyzes the differences in universality of the constitutive model based on obtaining undetermined parameters from different types of test data. The SM model is used to characterize the dynamic modulus of asphalt mixture, and the expressions of phase angle, storage modulus and loss modulus are obtained. Three fitting functions $ F_{E} $, $ F_{E_{\varphi}} $ and $ F_{SL} $ are constructed, and the test data of dynamic modulus, dynamic modulus combined with phase angle, and storage modulus combined with loss modulus are used for parameter identification, respectively. The results show that based on various indicators such as the $ R^{2} $ value of the master curve of asphalt mixture and the concurrency of the Black graph and Cole-Cole graph, the preferential sequence of these three fitting functions is $ F_{E_{\varphi}} > F_{SL} > F_{E} $.
