SA-PES 复合膜的制备表征及其处理退浆废水的效果研究

摘要

文章使用涂覆交联方式, 在酸性条件下, 以戊二醛为交联剂, 通过原位交联和浸渍交联 2 种方法将不同质量分数的海藻酸钠(sodium alginate, SA)水凝胶层涂覆在聚醚砜(PES)膜表面, 制备多种 SA-PES 复合膜。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, FTIR)、扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscope, SEM)、接触角测量仪、错流超滤实验等方式, 对制备的超滤膜性能及处理退浆废水的效果进行了评价。结果表明, 使用浸渍交联法, 在 SA 质量分数为 0.10% 时制备的 SA-PES 复合膜的纯水通量为 $ 35.6 \, \text{L}/(\text{m}^2 \cdot \text{h} \cdot \text{bar}) $, 接触角为 $ 21.78^\circ $, 对退浆废水中 PVA 的截留率为 98.8%; SA-PES 复合膜的平衡膜通量为 0.890, 经 500 min 超滤实验, 膜通量恢复率为 0.93。研究表明浸渍交联法制备的 SA-PES 复合膜亲水性高、纯水通量高、对聚乙烯醇(PVA)的截留效果好、抗污染能力强、稳定性好, 该复合膜能显著提升对退浆废水的处理效果。

Preparation and characterization of SA-PES composite membrane and its effectiveness in treating desizing wastewater

Abstract

In this study, various SA-PES composite membranes were prepared by coating and crosslinking with different concentrations of sodium alginate(SA) on the surface of polyethersulfone(PES) membrane under acidic conditions, using glutaraldehyde as cross-linking agent, through in-situ crosslinking and impregnation cross-linking. The performance of the prepared ultrafiltration membrane and its effectiveness in treating desizing wastewater were evaluated through Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR), scanning electron microscope(SEM), contact angle measuring instrument, and cross-flow ultrafiltration experiments. The results showed that using the impregnation cross-linking method, the pure water flux of the SA-PES composite membrane prepared at a SA concentration of 0.10% was 35.6 L/(m^{2} \cdot h \cdot bar), and the contact angle was 21.78°. The retention rates of PVA in the desizing wastewater were 98.8%. The SA-PES composite membrane has good stability and anti- fouling ability, with an equilibrium membrane flux of 0.890. After 500 minutes of ultrafiltration experiment, the membrane flux recovery rate was 0.93. This study indicates that the SA-PES composite membrane prepared by impregnation cross-linking method has high hydrophilicity, high pure water flux, good retention effect on polyvinyl alcohol(PVA), strong anti-pollution ability, and good stability, significantly improving the effectiveness in treating desizing wastewater.
